Wraparound Care
Parkend Primary School work in collaboration with the onsite Nursery to provide excellent wraparound care:
Parkend Early Learners is a small nursery accepting 14 children a day. It is situated on the grounds of Parkend School. We are open daily;
7.00 – 6.00Monday – Thursday
Friday 7.00 – 3.00.
Holiday Club
holiday club which runs throughout the school holidays. (Booking is required)
Following our latest OFSTED inspection in June 2022 we were awarded Good in all areas and Outstanding in Personal Development. The inspector stated that “Staff are good role models and are very responsive to the needs of each child. Children demonstrate that they feel safe and secure by seeking comfort when tired or upset. Staff are successful in teaching children how to keep themselves safe. For example, children listen well and follow the rules when they go onto the playground to complete their 'daily mile'. They line up and remember to hold onto the handrail as they go down the steps. Children behave well at this setting”
At playgroup we offer a range of different activities both inside and outside and love our weekly forest and community walks, along with our termly trips. The children all enjoy a range of different activities we offer.
