Our learning journey

We love reading!

Our Starbooks loyalty cards are starting to fill up!  We are having a competition to see which year group loves reading the most in class 3.  We have to read our books and then write a detailed and informative review to earn a stamp on the loyalty card and place a counter in our Year group cup.

Community Shield Winner

We have been learning how to write formal balanced arguments.  We  researched Greek Gods to decide which was the best!  We planned our work through a series of hot seating and interview exercises as well as through writing character descriptions to compare the Gods.  After that. we carefully drafted our arguments.  Next, we used peer evaluation, editing and revising skills to improve our work.  We have sent our writing to another school for them to make a decision and declare the King or Queen of the Gods.  We are looking forward to the results!
