Parkend Primary School
The small school with BIG ideas!
We are very proud to be apart of the community of Parkend.
We have close links with the Forestry Commission and utilise the forest as much as we can. Long walks are taken in the forest, as well as enjoying many of the history and heritage of the forest.
We are part of the 100 club, which is run by local members of the community and we always love to donate to the over 65's club at harvest time.
The Lion's club art competition is always a favourite of ours and we look forward to this every year.
If you want anymore information on the local community and links then please feel free to contact Jill Roberts (our community links coordinator) through the school email: admin@parkend.gloucs.sch.uk
Harvest Festival 2020
Please see our class Harvest celebrations on the video link under the Children section.
Unfortunately, this year we could not hold our usual Harvest Festival celebrations at the local church.
However, the children worked hard to complete their own Harvest celebrations in their class. Although we could not bring everyone together across the school, we could bring each class together to celebrate.
The school asked for donations of money this year instead of goods. All the money raised went to Parkend's Over 65s.
