Walk For Water
On Monday 22nd March 2021 we celebrated 'World Water Day'. We challenged the children in all classes to 'go the extra mile' for others during their Daily Mile session with the aim to raise awareness about communities in developing countries. As part of our school vision and ethos 'Everyone Together', we endeavour to support our local and wider communities and, therefore, we are delighted that we have managed to raise £55 for the Cafod charity through the kind donations of children, parents, carers and staff at Parkend. The money will be used to purchase water containers for up to five families in countries such as Zimbabwe. Thank you to everyone for your generosity. Mrs Wright, Humanities Lead.
