Work on the trim trail has commenced over the summer holidays and the trail is beginning to take shape.
There is still some work to be completed and this will be done throughout September.
Curtis Beeb and his crew have worked very hard to ensure that the trail is designed specifically for Parkend; it has taken shape and will, when completed, have different elements of fun for all ages.
The team have used a selction of natural woods including: Larch, Duglas Fir and Oak to ensure that it is in keeping with the trees that can be found in the Forest of Dean.
Although the trail will not be completed until the end of Spetember - it has to be quality assured and a risk assessment needs to be completed - which is normal for all trails used in schools and parks.
We look forward to the end results!!
